The hotel's location was super convenient for exploring the old town street and famous red bridge. The service provided by the hotel employees was mind-blowing - they were so nice and helpful. The onsen was jaw-dropping and a perfect way to relax. The hotel's preparation of a limousine for guests was a great touch, and the fact that they offered to keep our luggage at a nearby grocery shop for free was amazing. our stay was absolutely fantastic!

Welcome base for exploring Takayama. Ideal hotel in a traditional traditional style building. Stunning location in Takayama next to artisanal shops selling locally made and jinya, many great restaurant nearby and the famous bridge and the old town-good location. Also, right next to the river.

Beds were very uncomfortable.

We liked our triple room with good view. Had a hairdryer, a bidet, and bath sheets in the bathroom.

the location is prime, 1 mile from hida takayama onsen. it has good facilities and offers superb breakfasts.

Appreciated spending my time in this fairly clean traditional hotel. The stuff where exceptional, everything was good. The room was magnificent & spacious together with bath and beds for families, for example. The food was OUTSTANDING, delicious.

the hotel exceeded my expectations during this budget stay in takayama. the spacious and comfortable room, exceptional service, and convenient location made for a delightful experience. the shuttle service to and from the train station was a nice touch.

Breakfast timing wasn't flexible enough.

It has best possible and prime location in Takayama so close to the main bridge, the cosy town centre with many restaurants offering Hida beef cuisine and artisanal shops selling locally made.

The location of the hotel was great and lovely - relatively near a daily market. The room was relaxing and absolutely fantastic, provided with bath, nice view, a balcony. Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Takayama.
